Foundation

The design of the reinforced concrete structures, that Kontakt builds is based on Eurocode 2 (pr. EN 1992-1-1 Dec. 2003), Eurocode 3, Eurocode 8 and KTP N2-89. The steel used in the building is grade B500 B with fyk≥500MPa tensile strength, with maximum percentage elongation 5% according to all ductility characteristics of European design standards. Concrete mix is made with cement 42.5R and according to European standard EN206-1, but not less than 340kg/m3 and water/cement ratio < 0.5. In each concrete batching plant, samples are taken and tested in the laboratory according to the standard.
