We began our construction journey with the 4 Shkurti residence.
Recognized multiple times with international architectural awards. Its façade was designed by the renowned architects Bolles & Wilson.
An 8-story residence with rationally designed apartments, adapted to the architecture of the Polytechnic University of Tirana and the masterplan of the 1930s.
The massing is emphasized; the recessed balconies are treated as loggias. The materials are reduced to those that correspond to the historical precedent and the current construction possibilities in Tirana. The distinctive “haptics” of the base is achieved through wide mortar joints and intentionally irregular layers of broken (discarded) tile fragments.
