The electrical line is protected by a dedicated circuit breaker. The circuit breakers protect the line from overloads, short circuits, and leakage currents with a sensitivity of 30 mA (differential circuit breakers). All breakers are Europea-made products from brands such as ABB and Schneider. Within the units, the circuit breakers used range from 10 to 25 Amperes, Class C, with a breaking capacity of 4.5 kA. They are typically grouped in electrical panels containing 24 modules. The circuit breakers in the electrical cabinet that serve to supply power to the facilities are loadable and vary from 160 A to 630 A, grouped in metallic enclosures mounted on the wall. The selection of switches and sockets is made with great care to ensure a high-quality product with an elegant design. The series commonly used include Vimar Neve, Bticino Classia, and Abb Chiara. The sockets utilized are 2-pole + Ground “Schuko” 16A, while the switches are 1-pole 10A, except for the boiler switch, which is 2-pole 16A. The color of the switches, sockets, and their covers is always white. The standard applied is the Italian standard, where the Schuko sockets are 2 modules and the switches are 1 module.
