Wastewater

The external network for the collection of wasted water is made up of collector-type manholes with water resistant concrete construction and cast-iron covers, as well as pipelines dimensioned according to the technical design standards. The wastewater manholes are square-shaped, with a depth of no less than 90 cm. The external discharge network pipes are corrugated polyethylene pipes, which are connected to each other through wastewater discharge manholes placed at every junction or control point of the external discharge network. For the drainage of surface water, a linear drainage system is used. The term linear emphasizes the surface nature of the drainage channels. The drainage channels are key points in controlling surface water and must be periodically maintained.
