Roof waterproofing

Flat roof Waterproofing is achieved through Evalon waterproofing membranes from Alwitra, which are synthetic PVC membranes of high quality, and can be applied both horizontally and vertically with a thickness of 1.2 mm. Evalon is an elastic membrane, made of a single layer, very resistant to atmospheric agents and complete all requirements according to DIN 18531 for usable and non-usable roofs. For the thermal insulation of the roofs, rock wool with a thickness of 10 cm is used, and a density of 150 kg/m3, reaching a suitable temperature for the internal environments. The complete closed system of flat roof waterproofing is achieved by using metal sheet profiles throughout the perimeter of the building, which are connected to the membranes and the preprepared elements by Evalon. To increase the lifespan of the roofs, the entire waterproofing is covered with a geotextile layer and filled with gravel, which plays the role of weight, water filtration in the drain points, and protects the waterproofing from direct sunlight.
