Watertank waterproofing

The water tank is waterproofed with Flagon AT, a thermoplastic PVC material designed for use in potable water tanks. Installation is done through hot air welding. The material is antibacterial and guarantees durability against oxidation and aging in water, according to European standards. Flagon AT is a thermoplastic TPO geomembrane reinforced with a glass fiber mesh, specifically designed for waterproofing reservoirs used for drinking water. It is resistant to water, heat, and frost, impermeable to water vapors, and remains flexible in a temperature range from -40°C to 90°C. To protect the ceiling of the water tank from water vapor, a primer and resin coating is applied, serving a dual function: it ensures the quality of drinkable water by preventing contact with the concrete.
