Masonry

Masonry serves as a filling and dividing element for interior spaces, without a structural function. Partition walls between apartments and shared spaces have a thickness of 20 cm, using bricks with dimensions of 25x25x20 cm. Internal apartment divisions use 10 cm thick walls with bricks measuring 10x25x25 cm. To secure the brick wall against displacement during earthquakes, anti-seismic bands are added at mid-height, and vertical tie beams are installed every 6 m for long walls or free-standing walls on facades.
